Ancient Imitating Purple Clay Teapot 

The "Ancient Imitating Purple Clay Teapot" refers to a purple clay teapot designed in an ancient or traditional style, imitating classic forms and techniques from historical periods. 

The material for making purple clay pots is Yixing purple clay. The mud is a sedimentary rock. Each color of the mineral rock overlaps and is composed of scaly purple mud, Benshan green mud, white mud, yellow mud and red mud. It is collectively called purple clay. Because it is produced in Yixing, Jiangsu Province, it is also called Yixing purple sand.

Use a purple clay teapot to make tea, which is not easy to burn when you hold it. The linear expansion coefficient of purple clay pots is slightly higher than that of porcelain pots, and without glaze, there is no problem of glaze stress.  Even after being steamed at hundreds of degrees high temperature and then quickly dropped into subzero ice and snow, it will not burst.

制作紫砂壶的材料是宜兴紫砂。紫砂泥是一种沉积岩，矿石的每种颜色重叠，由片状的紫泥、本山绿泥、白泥、黄泥和红泥组成，统称为紫砂。因产于江苏省宜兴市，故又称宜兴紫砂。

使用紫砂壶泡茶时，拿在手中不容易烫手。紫砂壶的线性膨胀系数略高于瓷壶，而且由于没有上釉，因此没有釉应力的问题。即使在经过数百度高温蒸煮后迅速放入零下的冰雪中，也不会发生爆裂。
